Adjusting gain.
The gain determines how fast the ACS should correct a list condition. It can
be adjusted in three steps and the default setting is step 1. Step 2 provides
a bit faster correction while step 3 is the fastest. The setting is optimized if
a list condition is corrected without the boat leaning over to the other side
and the trim tabs are not operated too often.

Changing attitude.
In automatic mode, the desired attitude can be tuned by pressing any of the
four buttons e.g pressing starboard button once sets the boat 0.3 degrees
to starboard. Pressing the uppermost button lowers the bow 0.3 degrees.

Automatic retraction.
At the end of the trip, the ACS detects engine switch off and automatically
retracts the trim tabs to prevent fouling and extend trim tab life.

When slowing down, trim tabs loose their effect. ACS knows this and does not
attempt to trim list conditions while off the plane. Smart sensors enable rpm
measurement without the need for tedious installation work.
When accelerating, the ACS goes on again, correcting the attitude back to the
desired.

Blocked when turning
When making a turn the boat leans inwards.
Thanks to the built-in yaw measurement, automatic corrections are prevented
while turning and immediately continued when the boat is set up on a steady
course again. No user interaction needed!

Stormy weather or calm sea?
Every boat has its own way of behaving when in motion cutting through
waves. ACS keeps track of the movements. At good conditions, a perfect
attitude is trimmed while in stormy weather, unnecessary operations are
avoided.
